L-shape solid wood desk I got from a bank 15 years ago - BLINGMW - 01-29-2019

I've got this listed for a few hundred bucks on craigslist but would rather give it to one of you if you want it, would trade for a file cabinet or a nice bottle of whiskey?

How big of a file cabinet do you need? I might still have a couple in the basement at the school you can have next time you're up here.

I intend on replacing all this with a standing desk made out of a door or some such thing I find at black dog salvage. But I'll need at least one upright file cabinet or shelf I can put underneath it, preferably something wood.

Yeah. That show is mildly entertaining. They do some sketchy stuff that makes for good mindless tv watching.

is there a panic button installed under the top? approximately how many cans of red bull will fit in the lower drawer? in the appropriate lighting when you lean forward and rest your elbows on the top, and put your fingertips slightly together, would you say you feel more evil or about the same?

You'll have to wire your own security system, but the desk is rated UL 752 level 1 for small arms fire.
I have not tested redbull can capacity as the redbull fridge is just 3 steps away.
Part of the reason I am selling the desk is that my back is no longer allowing me to enjoy sitting very much, making extended evil plotting sessions less enjoyable.
I am glad you asked these questions, clearly I need to update my CL posting.

I really like how your keyboard and mouse position imply that you sit and just stare at the computer itself, with no monitor.

It's a lot easier to stay on task and not get distracted by forums and such

Truthfully I already have it temporarily set up as a standing desk, but my keyboard/monitor stand is a large tuperware bin and scrap wood which would have been even more confusing for the viewer.

I used to have a standing desk when I worked at AAP, and that was all day. I'm only at this one for a couple hours tops so I'll manage
