Ben Bradberry Intro - ReallySlowGP - 01-16-2019

Figured it was about time to make a post on here.
I'm Ben, a Senior Computer Science major. I went to a few MM meetings my sophomore year so if you recognize my car that's why. I have 2 Pontiac Grand Prixs, a '98 GT Sedan and a '96 SE coupe.
I've had the '98 since 2014. I got it at 83,000 miles and since then I've put on 40,000 more. It's been a great daily driver for me and was what got me interested in GM's W platform in the first place.

The '96 I got in October from my girlfriend's family after it failed inspection due to the rack and pinion needing to be replaced. Her dad fixed it up before they handed me the keys, and he did a damn good job with it. It's my project car and what I intend to spend a lot more money than I should on over the next few years. I plan to give the engine a new cam and ported heads, and am currently working on upgrading the suspension for autocross. Sadly it is a little ugly right now but I'm sourcing trim pieces and am going to give it a new coat of paint some time in the future. Grand Prixs aren't a common car to see being modified but I'm very fond of them and am looking forward to setting it up exactly how I want it.

the S/C 3.8 is no joke. my buddy had a S/C grand prix, just like your '98 but in green, in high school and i was fascinated with the digital boost gauge on the cluster...good memories

welcome, and def get that big hoss out on the autox course. you never see these cars out there and i bet it would be a ton of fun to watch it

+1 to the welcome and the "please autocross one of these" comments!

umm were you the one running around VIR in a GP? I saw one near grid with the blue tape numbers on and figured it had to be a MMer.

Yep, that was me. If you want to see the footage I took on the track check my thread in the projects section!
