2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - alco - 10-03-2018 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 304,000 miles, daily driven, cold a/c, good tires, inspected until March of 2019. This is my daily driver. It will tow 6000 lbs with a brake controller of your choice, I recommend the afforable Tekonsha products. $2300 obo for MM peeps. Make a reasonable offer and it is yours. Issues: Slow coolant leak at waterpump (weep hole?) or thermostat (they're plastic), front wheel bearings groan all the live long day but I have new ones on hand. Test drive it any day in Harrisonburg since I'm on campus working... I will also throw in a free moped that ran when parked for the buyer to do as he/she pleases. 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - Sijray21 - 10-03-2018 Wow, I never knew these came with a manual transmission. Asking price? RE: 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - alco - 10-03-2018 (10-03-2018, 03:34 PM)Sijray21 Wrote: Wow, I never knew these came with a manual transmission. Updated the post, $2300 obo. Classic. My existence is quite boring. What would you like to know? I'm not an JMU alum. I went to RIT instead. That was the first of a series of mistakes. Ask away. 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - Senor_Taylor - 10-03-2018 That's a lot of car for not a lot of money. Race this against Maeng's manual X3. LOL, if it comes to that I'll pull a few choice parts and we can all take a swing at it with a sledge for $20 for five minutes of stress relief? (10-03-2018, 04:23 PM)CaptainHenreh Wrote:Lunch today? This would be fun to rallycross and drive to work, but I have nowhere to park it. RE: 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - alco - 10-09-2018 $2000 From now until Sunday and still comes with a free Moped if you want it. Almost everything must go. RE: 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - WRXtranceformed - 10-10-2018 I can almost smell the sweet stink of dirty old boots, spilled Capri Suns and Lucky Charms ground into the carpets from here. Love the audacity of this daily driver, it's against everything I would imagine would make good sense yet it stands like a tank. Some of you guys have made dumber decisions, someone should snag this up for keg-hauling duties around JMU RE: 2001 BMW X5 3.0, Five Speed Manual - alco - 10-11-2018 (10-10-2018, 10:16 AM)WRXtranceformed Wrote: I can almost smell the sweet stink of dirty old boots, spilled Capri Suns and Lucky Charms ground into the carpets from here. It actually still smells like the inside of any BMW that hasn't been soaked with Capri Sun. Lucky Charms are disgusting. No one eats that willingly. And my boots don't smell, Red Wings are good boots and if you change your socks daily, and keep the insides of the boot dry, bacteria doesn't grow, ergo, no stink.
