Ryan Schulien Intro - ryanschulien - 09-20-2018 What's up guys. My name is Ryan Schulien. I just transferred to JMU from The University of Alabama as a sophomore. I am currently pursuing a degree in Finance in COB, but my dream is to own a performance shop of my own. I currently drive a Vista Blue with silver stripes 2006 Mustang GT 5-speed and my dad has a numbers matching 1969 Pontiac GTO. I've always loved cars, and loved working on mine, but I don't have all of the mechanical knowledge that I want. With that being said, if anyone is working on a project and wouldn't mind teaching me some more about how to work on my own car more than I do, I'd love that. I also want to get into the drag racing scene and see what kind of times my car can put down. I'm really excited to meet everybody and see what Madison Motorsports is all about! ****No crowds were harmed in the making of this build ****Current Mods: shorty headers H pipe Borla ATAK axleback exhaust FP Hot Rod Cams Steeda UD Pulley's Cold air intake + throttle body Bama tune Hurst short throw shifter lowering springs Exedy stage 1 clutch, flywheel & TOB + boring exterior/interior styling

Ryan Schulien Intro - Senor_Taylor - 09-20-2018 Welcome! Interesting to see so many mustangs in the clubs now! This must be the Mustangs and Miatas phase as the BMW phase is now waning. It's the cycle of MM. That's neat you went to Bama! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk RE: Ryan Schulien Intro - Jake - 09-21-2018 Welcome! Cool deal with the GTO, my friend's dad has a "lookalike" in red, although I'm not sure which engine is in his. They are fun cars with the top down and way bigger than I realized. Between all of us, you will definitely learn how to spin some wrenches! See you at VIR in a couple weeks? Great chance to meet a bunch of people, get rides in racecars/track cars (there are plenty of Mustangs if you want to see what yours could be like) and even get your own car on track. Ryan Schulien Intro - GTBrandon - 09-22-2018 Man that car looks and sounds badass whenever I see it around campus, glad you found MM! We actually went to the drag strip tonight, were you there (I had work so I couldn’t make it)? Also I know of a few member projects coming up from brakes, suspension, and fluids, to full interior restorations. Keep posted in the chat, and we’ll try to make events in the GroupMe calendar when these things happen. A big place we’ll start going once it gets cold is MAAP for an awesome indoor shop to work at. RE: Ryan Schulien Intro - ScottyB - 09-22-2018 welcome! i've got a lot of love for the S197, always wanted a highland green Bullitt version. MM is a huge resource for people that want to learn to work on their stuff, so definitely stick around and be sure to start a project thread where we can help you out if you get stuck on anything.
