Anyone use letgo? - Sully - 06-10-2018

Anyone use letgo to sell anything big or small? Thinking of using it in addition to some other traditional avenues but wondering if anyone had any luck with it.

Possible things I'm selling would be a 98 kx125 that is 100% disassembled so mainly for parts or someone extremely ambitious with a bunch of new bearings and some other new engine parts.

And then a 2008 stand up jetski. They're pretty rare so idk what to ask. Probably way over book and see what offers I can get. There really are no examples in this area and anything outside this area is going for way over book and mine had been garage kept since new.

I believe Chan had some success. I've tried it and had nothing good come of it.

There's gotta be some jet ski forums out there. Try those? James Clay is big into the stand up skis I believe. Could try to reach him to see if he knows anything about it value wise.

I put them both in Facebook. So far I got someone wanting to trade me an atv with a blown top end or a bow (like bow and arrow) for the dirt bike. After I told them I want interested in trades, they said but what about a bow or something else I could use....

There is. I feel like most forums don't let you post classifieds until you have a certain post count. I'm a member on one of them but I have to remember which one first and then see if I ever even posted or just lurked lol.

Maybe he wants it but I'm sure he'd want to go in super low on the price.

I had no luck on letgo with a few simple housecleaning things like sunglasses and video games... I'd think you'll have a hard time selling a jetski but who knows

I bought a canoe and had a couple real people reply on a dirtbike. Works well enough if you bother to give a real title and description to your stuff. The auto-naming it does is sometimes impressive, often hilarious, but makes the overall service much less useful when boxes of tampons are listed as model carsĀ and an oxygen tank is listed as vacuum cleaner.
