Somehow I've managed to get 2 cars towed in 2 weeks and rack up a $100+ toll violation on a work trip, so I need some monies. Time to sell some stuff.
Behringer 502 Mixer - $30
Comes with some cables and a few microphones for you aspiring podcasters or musicians. I used it for years on my Twitch channel and then to record my drumming. It's a very good mixer, but has no USB interface, so you're strictly analog for you old school folk.
The MMoped - $100
Ryan Green has dibs, but if some reason he doesn't end up buying it, it's time for it to go. I really enjoy riding it, but I have no way to get it to the track anymore. 2004 Kinetic SC with a clean title. Odometer gear fell out and all of the lights are blown, so it needs a new voltage regulator (like $15) and the rear wheel is a little out of balance at 40 mph. Missing one pedal if you want to use it as a pedal bike and has no key (just flip the kill switch and kick it over or push start it). Leaks a little fuel if you don't turn off the petcock, but a new fuel line would fix that. Brakes works and it drive very well.

Very very few Uber drivers make any money after factoring in expenses. There was an MIT study that showed people making a profit of $3.63 an hour on average. No thanks.

Does Uber just rely on the stupidity of drivers to not notice this? Seems like it wouldn't take an MIT study for me to figure out how much I was making per hour after paying for fuel and estimated wear&tear.

I don't think the average person realizes the cost per mile factoring in fuel, maintenance costs, insurance, wear and tear. They just see they drove for X hours and made x dollars and if the dollars per hour look good for them they think they are in the black.
I always ask the driver's how much they drive per day. I met a guy in San Diego that said he was making $4-5k a week but was doing 10-12 hour days and this was back when Uber first rolled out. He said with Lyft and the influx of drivers he makes drastically less now.
