What should Chris Look into buying?? - rydercp - 03-15-2018 As I graduate in May, I have lots of thoughts...like Taylor. I want something a bit more practical other than a 19 year old Mustang GT. Not that i'm selling it or anything, but it would be nice to have something to get around in bad weather in. My first thought is ecoboost f150. Granted I will probably use a trailer a handful of times maximum owning a truck, but I would haul items in the bed. I am leaning more towards a truck than an suv. So let your opinions flow. What should Chris look into purchasing... RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - SlimKlim - 03-15-2018 GTI is All Things to All Men. What should Chris Look into buying?? - Senor_Taylor - 03-15-2018 What's your budget? What's your intended use? Where will you live? Where will you work? What will you use the Mustang for? Too many variables here. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - rydercp - 03-15-2018 Budget would be 10-15k, I would probably live somewhere like Charlottesville, and would use to haul an atv or a bike. I do like GTI's though... What should Chris Look into buying?? - Sijray21 - 03-15-2018 You're options this week are either a gti or a f31 BMW wagon RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - .RJ - 03-15-2018 (03-15-2018, 11:10 AM)Sijray21 Wrote: You're options this week are either a gti or a f31 BMW wagon ^ choose wisely RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - rydercp - 03-15-2018 Hmmm. Not much of a wagon guy. I love GTI's but know almost nothing about them. RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - JPolen01 - 03-15-2018 We have a thread for this. Stop cluttering the forum with this nonsense! What should Chris Look into buying?? - Sijray21 - 03-15-2018 Oddly enough, I may even recommend a 2010 - 2012 Ford escape if you want a bit of hauling with some other utility. I'd only opt for the top of the line limited trim with a factory hitch. 5k towing with factory hitch, newer 6-spd transmission, and still a small truck-like feel without breaking the bank. For above $10k you can find one with low miles. They also have dual fuel injection (no issues with DI carbon build up). For $15k a used mk7 gti would be nice. Plan for bigger maintenance costs around. Towing may be challenging, but if you're not towing often then I'd lean toward something more fun like that. RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - .RJ - 03-15-2018 Ford escape?

RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - ScottyB - 03-15-2018 lol thread delivers. are you trying to get the bike/atv up in the bed or do you plan to pull them on a trailer? RE: What should Chris Look into buying?? - rydercp - 03-15-2018 Have a bed setup. I'd rather not pull a trailer |
