FS: 55in Samsung 4K LED or 42in LG 1080P LED - Ken - 10-31-2017

Hey guys,

Pulled the trigger on the LG B7a OLED and now need to unload one of the other two i have. First one to go is it.

First is a 55in Samsung  - Model # is UN55HU6840. Bought it two years ago and had worked perfectly as my primary TV. 4K image is very sharp and it does a pretty good job with blur considering it's a 60Hz set. Upconvert for 1080P is very good.  On ebay it's going for $499 - so asking $350 from MM plus shipping. review

The second is a 42in LG  - Model # is 42LB5800. Bought three years ago and has worked perfectly, bedroom TV. One of the best 1080P images I've owned, it probably does better for sports and gaming, lag is negligible. Can't find pricing but think $200 plus shipping is fair.  rtings review

Realize it's a bit of along shot, considering the shipping aspect, but figured I'd throw it out there.

My dad might be ready to upgrade and is planning to be in New York (Long Island) before the end of the year. I will talk to him tomorrow.

Is the samsung a "smart TV", I assume so. Has netflix/amzn/hbogo/youtube built in?

Yes to all - it actually is pretty good as far as Smart TV interfaces are concerned. I stopped using it since i got a FireTV that the Plex interface was better for.
