34th Deutsche Marque Concours d'Elegance - Vienna - May 7th - SlimKlim - 04-27-2017
DJ mentioned a concours event in Vienna next weekend and I sarcastically suggested to Lauren that we should crash the rich guys' wine, cheese & car party, and she enthusiastically, and non-sarcastically agreed.
So uh, my car is registered to participate in a concours now. :dunno:
Should be an interesting day seeing how the upper echelon of the car world does things, luckily it's in Vienna so there are other things to do, we'll probably hang out in the morning and watch all of the garage queens come in and park, then wander around town and get lunch to burn a few hours before making it back for the 3PM Wine & Cheese reception.

Man, the turn out from last year looks pretty great! Strong showing of 02's also, and if that's a legit turbo I'd need a backpack to carry in front of me all day.

We'll be there from at least 9 AM to ~ 3 PM, although we'll probably go wander around downtown and grab lunch to kill a couple hours somewhere in the middle there.
I believe its wide open to spectators with no need to register or anything, but if, for some reason, you want to attend the wine & cheese reception at the end you need to be a member of the BMW CCA, PCA, or MBCA and cough up $15/ticket. RJ I'll shoot you a FB message with my cell # so you can text me when you show up if you want, I think everyone else that has expressed interest has my number.

I grew up in Vienna and remember coming across it when it was MB only. I have a feeling with the kid I'll be doing a lot more of these style events for this summer just to get out of the house. So if anyone knows any let me know!
