Project E90 M3 - turboneticsSS - 04-19-2017

So the camaro is gone, I've owned a few BMW's over the years but never an m car. This last weekend I flew down to Texas and picked up an 08 e90 m3 will post pictures later. Dual clutch, red interior, Jerez black

Re: Project E90 M3 - Senor_Taylor - 04-19-2017

OOOOOooooooOOOOOO

I was just telling Taylor I'm kind of bummed not one of you current students is rocking an old shitty E36 M3, but I guess this will do.

Looking forward to pics. Smile

Re: Project E90 M3 - King_swizz - 04-19-2017

Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Re: Project E90 M3 - Beej - 04-19-2017

It was right of you to choose the sedan.

TTIWWOP!

Re: Project E90 M3 - Jake - 04-19-2017

Scott, if you could provide fewer details next time I would really appreciate it. Your threads are always so overwhelming with information Wink

Seriously though, congrats, can't wait to see it and hear more!

He can't type, he's too busy crunching numbers on 8 turbos and meth.

Are we surprised? He will revisit this thread in about 8 months.

Re: Project E90 M3 - WRXtranceformed - 04-19-2017

Re: Project E90 M3 - GTBrandon - 04-19-2017

Just drive right by me with those temps on Scott, I see how it is. I've got a new BMW with temps on it too, just a couple years older than yours Wink

Shhhhhh don't shatter the illusion for people who have their entire masculine identity wrapped up in how many pedals their car has.

Yes, it is the second best transmission you can get in an M3

By that you mean people who actually enjoy the driving experience, engagement with the vehicle, and the skill to row through the gear correctly? :dunno: Kids these days.

*mostly giving him as much shit as possible for the worthless thread without pics.

Re: Project E90 M3 - turboneticsSS - 06-13-2017

Sorry it hasn't been 8 months, I like to keep just a little bit of suspense. The dsg is amazing, don't knock it until you try it, I have plenty of skill in actually shifting gears dct is just indescribable fun, keep an eye out for a manual car I'm picking up this weekend there will be a thread for it. It's was just the exact specs/price I wanted that's why I went so far. Car is getting its rod bearings done in the next couple weeks so I don't blow anything up, straight pipe is on and sounds glorious.

Re: Project E90 M3 - turboneticsSS - 06-13-2017

More pics when I'm not on my phone

Re: Project E90 M3 - turboneticsSS - 09-12-2017

ok so heres some pictures, many goodies are coming in the next week or so since I sold some old camaro parts. Gonna make it a fun daily but still unique, it is so weird driving a stock car other than headlights. By the way the headlights are one eighty headlights and they look nifty.

Re: Project E90 M3 - turboneticsSS - 09-12-2017

Will try very hard to actually keep up in the next 2 weeks but as we all know Im terrible at that, don't normally think of working on my car then coming back and documenting it in a thread but I like the idea of it haha
