In the middle of all my bad luck... - bassmangrammy - 10-08-2004

I'm the luckiest person ever. I found out that my CL was not going to be ready today, so I didn't go pick it up. Instead, I took the Benz to go pick up some food. As I was pulling out of my neighborhood, I see a GT3 Cup Car!!!!!!!!!! (at an undisclosed location) So I drive up and it's our friends at Victory By Design. Greg, who also owns Ski and Skate, let me take some pictures and sit in his GT3. Picture below!!!

P.S. This made my summer. After all the crap with car wrecks and insurance, this was the pick-me-up I needed. Thanks guys!!

- JackoliciousLegs - 10-09-2004

no, seriously, that's sooooo hot...

- Chris - 10-09-2004

similar experience for me yesterday!

I took my roommate over to "speedy" for his oil change...

There was a yellow GT3 in the shop with a roll bar and harnesses. Of course I had to talk to the guy...

apparently its the same guy from Einsteins paint shop or whatever its called in town. He also has a silver 911 his wife drives. Really nice guy who has driven several PCA driving schools and is a NASA member. He hasn't driven with NASA yet but may come to summit this month.

The car is very sexy, GT3 RS graphics on the side and a carbon fiber wing. He also said he would come to the car show this year!

Thanks for the forum topic guys... i knew i would find these pics. on here with the quickness!! We are available anytime to do up graphics for you guys and can be reached at: 433.3128 at our main office.

I noticed someone mentioned seeing the Yellow GT3 and "Yes" we did the graphics on that one as well... Matt Einstein is a good customer of ours.

Our Victory By Design team will be running in the 13 Hour Race at VIR on Oct. 22/23rd of this month if anyone is interested in crewing for us for some experience and some hands on time with a racing program. The BMW M3 is not quite ready yet so we will be competing in a VW Golf GTi that runs ITB class, the same car that we won the 12 Hour Race at Summit Point in this year. Give Brian Bass a call if interested at: 433.3128, Brian is the Team Rep. That race has a night qualify and a night practice on Fri. night and then the race starts on Sat. at 9:15am and goes until 10:15pm. I will be driving the car along w/ co-driver Paulo Do Couto from Rockville, MD.

Let us know if you need anything and feel free to visit us on the web at: www.vbdgraphics.com

PS: That GT3 (silver) belongs to my friend Mark Scafidi who was there yesterday... that car is bad ass huh???

Yeah. Funny how I have all these cool connections now from werkin at Starbucks. There's a guy named Ian who is the new warehouse manager for CDOC, who was one of my shift supervisors. Yeah, he's also the guy who's importing the R32 Skyline... Big Grin
