Hello everyone,
My name is Ryan Allen for those who don't know and I drive a heavily modified 86 Camaro built to handle well. I will be graduating early in December of next year and with that being said will only be available to help officiate the club for a single semester. I am looking to help provide senior support and guidance to the upcoming officers in relation to club events and activities that I have participated in the last two years. In addition to helping the club as a whole I will be looking to take some stress off of the upcoming officers and allow them plan and arrange longer term goals for the club and develop the atmosphere that they envision.
In summary I will simply assist with any needs of the officers while voicing ideas and suggestions from my experience in the club. This position will be extremely flexible and will allow for an extra set of hands while keeping the club moving in a positive direction.

I like this idea. Partially because it's mine, partially because I think you'll be a great asset.
What are you plans when you graduate? I imagine the officers will be well on their feet by the time you leave, but will you still be available via phone or other means to help after December?
I do like how active you are in Autocross and I hope you will do well to encourage others to join in. You being the oldest "officer" would mean you'd be the one to look for when reflecting on past successes (and failures) of the club. Do you feel qualified to speak to those?

Plans after graduation are still up in the air as to where ill end up, there are possible opportunities in NOVA, Charlottesville, and Harrisonburg. All options would allow for easy access to JMU for any help that the club could need. I can be readily available to help the officers after graduation if they feel it is necessary.
I feel I can bring some people out to autocross and get their interests up easily and would enjoy having some fellow MMers around at the events. As far as speaking on behalf of the success and failures of the club I can do it justice from what I have seen from my time involved.
