1998 Jag XK8 - Jeff - 03-20-2017
I know this is a long shot but I thought I would throw it out. I just traded this Jag with 72,900 miles. It is auto (poopoo) and it needs some tlc. Blue with light leather. Text me for pics, 540-335-1260. $2950 inspected or $2600 as-is (rejection for control arm bushings).

It needs front control arm bushings. CEL for "coolant temp out of range" what came on the really cold day wasn't on when traded. Paint is rough it has been all over painted and the clear is coming up in two spots. Wheels are peeling. A/C compressor front seat leaking, oil leak from right timing cover. Misc this and that small stuff in the interior.

I should say it drives nicely and has good power. The tires are all good one has a little inside wear from the bushings being bad. It could make a nice fix and flip project if you are handy or a runner. Kbb private "fair" condition is $4750 and over $8k retail.

With it throwing the coolant temp code, I would replace the water pump asap. XK8's are notorious for issues with them (think bmw problems) and the plastic tensioners (Dad has an '01 xk8)

The first car I ever drove in my life is one of these so it holds a special place in my heart. I don't mind a bit of mechanical issues, but getting it nice cosmetically is expensive and frustrating.

It's already a 10 footer. Clear is bad on edge of hood and left fender. Not horrible.
