Brandon Itkin, 2014 335xi GT - GTBrandon - 01-26-2017

This is my first year here at JMU studying International Business, with a focus on Italian and I'm sure you can guess why. I currently drive my 335xi GT because I needed the space to fit my dog as well as move stuff back and forth from college. Had a list of mods that I wanted to do but after realizing I was about to drop $5k on the car, I decided to save up for a track car instead. So currently I just watch and admire at autocross, but will hopefully be getting something fun soon to bring onto the track. And no, it won't be another miata

Don't mod your car or buy another car to autocross. Just autocross that big bitch! Ain't nothin' bad gonna happen to it in 45 seconds of aggressive driving at an average of 35mph.

Also, welcome.

Welcome! I'm with Joey, autocross what you have, do some (eventual) HPDE in what you have, and then build a dedicated track toy later on when the time and money are more right. Hard to do it "right" in college and a big-turbo-six Fwhatever-chassis BMW is plenty athletic.

Will we see you at Turducken?

Definitely looking into some HPDE with this car as I still like to have fun with it, but agree with doing it right while in college and waiting until later Cry

As for Turducken, I would love to come as long as I can hitch a ride with someone!

Having carpet on the floor probably does hinder the 0-60 time, yeah.

Shooting for mid 4's with the tune and bolt-ons. Not sure about 1/4mile but not expecting anything impressive mainly due to aero and weight. DD, so nothing crazy.
