Evo 8 Motor & Stuff - CaptainHenreh - 05-11-2016

Lulz.

Don't ask.

I have a motor from a Mitsu Evo8. Ran fine when pulled. And a stock turbo. And a EvoX FP Black turbo. And some other shit. Intake manifold with harness? Got one of those. Stainless O2 housing? Got one.

Anyway, none of you fuckers have an Evo which is fine, but if you know anyone who needs any of the above goodies I'll buy you a 6er of your favorite craft bullshit brew.

I wonder how easy this would swap into the Mazda

As long as the e-brake shoes don't fall apart it should be fine in your e46.

Are evos reliable?

Re: Evo 8 Motor & Stuff - RawrImAMonster - 05-12-2016

Mine, which was fairly modded, was perfectly reliable in the two years that I daily drove it. Only thing that I had to fix was a clutch, but that's going to happen when you're running 100+ hp over stock on the stock clutch.

Actually that was the most reliable car I've owned. Basically as long as you don't have one that has been modified really stupidly, or just way too much, they should be fine.

In the years i had a Ralliart and Evo i had no problems (same engine 4b11T, but not the 4G63T here) outside of clutch but that was because the guy before me who owned the Evo must have killed it.

Motor is gonezo.

FP turbo will be gone soon as well.

Anyone need a stock 16G and Manifold?
