No just no. Buy a set of good street tires instead. I jumped in an RB26DET 240SX car on VIR and cooked these in 2 laps. Literally cooked. Convinced owner to jump to Hoosiers. Next weekend with Hoosiers he cracked his personal best by 3 seconds and he was able to be more consistent over more laps as the tire didnt fall off.

shame, maxxis seems to make a great tire for certain other realms (MTB's, offroad stuff) i guess they need to learn how pavement works.

I think this is the issue. road bicycle tires for maxxis are pretty awful :vomit:, but their MTB stuff is good
