VIR UNKEFER DASH July 17-19 2015 - Kaan - 06-15-2015
okay who is going? I'm 50/50 right now. I have a line on a trailer to borrow... I'm just trying to line up the logistics (hotel or camp, how much food to pack so I don't pay VIR out the nose, where to get an extra fuel can, etc etc)

In for TTD per usual.
One thing to note - this event on Friday also is host to the Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge (UTCC). Definitely a fun day of racing to watch if you can come down early!
I'll be helping with UTCC on Friday and doing my TT/pace/grid thing on Saturday and Sunday.

50/50. I'll be deciding the weekend of the 27th. Hopefully it is not full (maybe I can send Laura an email?). Definitely have to pick up the torque app, phone stand, and Bluetooth ob2 for this event because I'm worried about heat. Will be bringing an extra wheel or two just in case this time if I do go haha.

I will be there. Taking the cylinder head over to the machine shop today. Bent intake valve on #4 cylinder. Also gotta change out spring mounts and sway bars as changing my setup to try to get the car to work worth a damn.

The machine shops around here should do rewards programs like coffee shops. Buy 10 Tank 'n' Decks get the 11th free!!

Looks like it didn't matter anyway. Spare Cylinder Head has cracks, and took off the cylinder head with the broken retainer, which ended up taking out the valve and the top of my piston. *sigh*

And yes a friend is taking me back to hburg. Picking up my winter wheels cause my summers are on 3/32 and will not streetable after VIR. So I'll just run the REs bald for the last events and pick up new tires for next season this winter or spring.

Looks like I'll be sleeping in my car. If any official who is sleeping in those villas(whatever they are called) there on the front straight would kindly let me charge my go-pro/phone overnight or something I'd be very thankful!

Start around 1:15 for a nice Oak Tree exit and blast down the back straight.
