MM Car Show & Autocross Weekend! - April 11 & 12 - Jake - 02-26-2015

Thanks to Ray Schumin with the Blue Ridge Region SCCA, we'll be making this a full weekend event this year. The BRR-SCCA is hosting a local autocross the day after the car show, a short drive south from JMU!

This year we have two sponsors:

Madison Motorsports has been working closely with Ray, the head of the Blue Ridge Region SCCA. He has gracefully given an option for a discounted autocross the next day, Sunday April 12th. Since, unfortunately per JMU's new rules implemented by the state to colleges, we can not raffle anything this year. So, we will be handing out $5 discount certificates to anyone who asks for one at the the front table (where registration, etc... will take place). The discount will only work if you are paying in cash/check the morning of the autocross at the registration table. You of course can register online but just choose the option to pay later! . You can also just register the morning of but it makes it easier to do it online as it will delay the start of the autocross significantly if too many people try to register at the autocross.

I had a glimmer of hope I might get my car together for this, but I just ran into another parts delay and my garage still looks like the engine bay threw up everywhere soooooooooo I'm not gonna be able to make it this year.

I will be there of course and for the auto-x...don't forget your sunscreen. There is a hole in the ozone layer right above campus and this show cooks people. Still worth it!
