Wheel repair services - HAULN-SS - 01-05-2015 The ATS has had some scuffs on the rims since the day I got it. I was debating on making these current rims "winter rims" and buying a new set for normal use. I have decided to at least check into reconditioning these rims. Has anyone had this done? How does it turn out? Can anyone make a recommendation on where to get it done? I think all 4 of mine have at least some minor scrub on them - the person that had the car before me for 11k miles must've been a real asshat parker. Re: Wheel repair services - Jeff - 02-03-2015 I've had some done by a company called QuikSilver. They do great work as long as the wheels is painted. My cost is $75 a wheel usually. Re: Wheel repair services - HAULN-SS - 02-03-2015 Yeah - I was kind of afraid it'd be hard to find a place that can do a machined wheel. Re: Wheel repair services - Jeff - 02-03-2015 He can send them away I think, might give the closest one to you a call. Re: Wheel repair services - HAULN-SS - 02-03-2015 You have any contact info? googling comes up with Kwiksilver, which looks like a franchise operation Re: Wheel repair services - Jeff - 02-03-2015 Yeah that's them, sorry. The one nearest me is 540-607-6211, I don't have his name its in my phone under KwikSilver |
