Hey guys,
My name is Jeff Johnson, and I am a temporary Harrisonburg resident. I graduated from VT in May (I know, I know), and am currently working remotely while my girlfriend finishes her Master’s degree at JMU.
After graduating and starting work, I traded in my old Jeep for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. So far I’ve added a 9500lb winch, bought a soft top and tube doors, and some other offroad recovery options. Hoping to add a 2.5” lift and 35’s in the future, but having a car payment is hampering my modding :dunno:
I’m joining to meet some cool car guys and to join some local offroaders to hit trails with. I’ve been around JMU for the last 5 years on weekends while I would see my girlfriend, so I know the area well and have seen some cool rides over my time.
Here are some pictures of my Jeep. I usually ride doorless or with tube doors, and the back piece of my top off. I’ll be switching to a hard top in the next month or so though

Most recent picture is playing on some trails near Blacksburg a few weeks ago.

Welcome. Glad to see you introduced yourself! iBeJeepin is the guy leading the Jeep group in October I told you about and I'm sure he'll post here. Feel free to tag along for any other events we do too!

Once I get skids I'll go for anything! Hopefully by that time, I'll have some cheap 33s, but the skids are all I care about. Rock gardens wouldn't play nice with my transfer case.

I’d definitely be in for a trip to Rausch. My family lives in NJ and I’ve (sadly) never made it out there.
Would also be up for any trips around here. I’m itching to get back out and would love to hit up Flagpole soon, would anyone be down for a trip in 2-3 weeks from now? Weekends only for me, unfortunately.

I’d be down to go the weekend of the 18th or 25th, depending on weather. It’d be nice to get out again before the cold really hits, although that does bring snow wheeling :thumbup:
