Never to early to post up about this event.
IF YOU WERE GOING TO MAKE IT OUT TO ONE NASA EVENT ALL YEAR, it would be HYPERFEST.
Each driver (racers, instructors, HPDE entrants, Time Trial entrants) will get themselves and one free crew member. All other crew and guests must pay gate fee.
If you can't get in as a crew member/worker it is $20 early bird (Online) or $25 at the gate. $5 for parking, unless you have a paddock pass.
Rex, Jake? and I are official hyperfest bitchezzzzz per the usual.
Who else is in?

So, what's it going to be like for us who won't be on the track? I wouldn't mind going, I just don't want to be bored, and ride alongs aren't my thing.

I'll be there in T & S. Won't be staying for shenanagans but I'll be there during the day at least. Taylor, do yourself a favor and google Hyperfest. Then come back here and tell me if you think you'll get bored.

I'll be one of The Bitchezz per usual on Friday and Saturday (working the Hyperfest side, doing sweet jumps in a golf cart, getting Rex pretend-arrested) and then Sunday over in the main paddock driving in TTD.

Ditto to what Julie said. Just say you are in MM and were interested in working hyperfest. More than likely she could use some help on the Hyperfest side of things. Probably has the NASA side of things covered though.

Definitely going to come down and at least hang out both days. I'm mulling over whether I want to abuse my car for the Saturday morning hyperdrive.

Yes people camp all over the property. There might be a fee on the hyperfest side but I don't think so and you probably don't want to camp over there. Shit gets sketchy after dark... Well really the entire time but after dark, it can sneak up on you.
There is limited space in the paddock. Good claims are reserved by the Crowder's lol but there are other spots and Aaron's pretty nice so he may let you pitch your tent lol

Yeah, Taylor, a bunch of us will end up camping on the non-Hyperfest side so you are welcome to join us. We'll do a final roll call so we know who needs what sort of space in a few weeks.

I just signed up for a Saturday Hyperdrive.
I'm still on the fence about beating on the car with a seepy HG for 25 minutes, but I figure I'll shift at 6k and it will probably be ok maybe. If I get cold feet on the BMW I'll bleed the brakes in the VW and give that thing a good thrashing, and if I get cold feet on that I'll help myself to Jake's car.
So who wants to instruct me? DJ? Maeng?
