WTB & FS: BMW Steering Wheel - davej - 04-07-2014

I picked up an M Tech 1 steering wheel a while back that I wanted to us on the '02, but got a lesson in coarse vs fine splines only after it wouldn't fit. I like the way it'd look in the car, so if you guys can keep an eye open for me in your forums/part bins, I'm looking for a coarse spline wheel, which should be from anything with a build date prior to 9/85.

and if anyone might want to buy this one, let me know. (but holding out hope someone will trade me for a coarse)

the backs are different, fine spline on left, coarse on right (although not an m tech)

Would it be possible to swap out the spline? I see those two little screws...

That wouldn't happen to fit an e36 would it haha Wink

i don't think so, those screws just remove the brass ring (contact for horn i think), rest is a solid piece through the wheel. could swap out the shaft in the car, but that seems like more of a pain than buying a different wheel.
