Old School Cool - davej - 04-04-2014 Had a chance to visit a classic car museum in the middle of nowhere, NY over Christmas and just came across some of the pics. There was probably close to 200 vehicles on display, I took a few photos, but Landon was manning the camera most of the time so there's a lot of front bumper shots that i won't bore you with. You start out with turn of the century through WWII, which represented the biggest section of cars there. If I remember, it said these Duesenberg were $13-19,000 back in the mid 20's! nice example of photo height from the boy. Room with 50's/60's Wagons More recent examples I was absolutely enamored with this 1930 Henderson bike, maybe because it reminded me of the BatBike from the 90's Batman cartoon, or maybe because it was just pure sex on two wheels... Found some more info/photos of it on http://www.knucklebusterinc.com/feature ... henderson/ http://www.knucklebusterinc.com/feature ... son-redux/ ![]() ![]() ![]() Kind of looks like a badass Honda Monkey with out the shell ![]() Edit: link to the museum: http://www.classiccarmuseum.org/exhibits.php Re: Old School Cool - Kaan - 04-04-2014 There is a classics old school collection at luray cavers if you are ever there. also there is a good collection of classics at the Imperial Palace in LV.... just dont spend the night at the Imperial Palace lol. This. A few of us went on a field trip there when we took Dr. Borg's history of the automobile class - awesome collection and a bunch of stupid rare stuff too (the curator was saying "1 of 3" this and "1 of 1" that). That art deco bike is sweet, too. Re: Old School Cool - Mike - 04-04-2014 that bike is amazing. Re: Old School Cool - Sully - 04-04-2014 I'm not usually a big fan of older motorcycles but that bike is tits. Like perfect glorious tits. Had my first (and declared only) experience in luray last week as we took the slow road back from the Dulles air and space. Uncle bucks family restaurant was enough for me to write the town off, but sounds like I have to go back now... Oh and on an unrelated note I was transformed into a 10 year old again when I saw my blackbird. Insane.
