Possible Spring Kline's meet? - rherold9 - 04-02-2014
Hey all,
Just want to get a feeler on the idea of a spring Kline's meet just like in the fall. I think it would be a great to show the Freshman that there is a car club here. The fact that they will be able to bring their cars up here next year I think makes a good idea to have it in the spring along with the fall. I have brought the idea up a few times to Sam but I just wanted to get a feeler on current students and see what they think. Alumni feel free to chip in as well.
It is always fun to piss everyone off in Showker deck too = more attention :thumbup:
What does everyone think about sometime during the week of the 14th-18th of April? Monday/Wednesday/Friday are usually best for most people?

I like the idea, but it may be a little too late in the year. Definitely would be cool if we could get some freshmen attention at the show and get some more on the mailing list, then get them out for the meet.
I think the show being at Convo is going to hurt the freshmen participation.

That's the plan, let the little Freshman who come to the car show know about the Kline's meet and hopefully some will see passing by near Eagle/Shorts at the meet.

2 Things about this:
Numba 1: We can't do the 18th because we are doing Poker night at our house with Rocktown Peeps.
Number 2: We can't meet up at 7, as our baby goes to bed between 7:30-8pm every night. So... we are likely out.

Okay well looks like only like 4 people are going. But, the actual plan is from what me and Sam talked about is meet at 7 in Showker Deck. We will cruise soon after to Kline's on 11 by all the car dealerships as usual. An email will be sent out sometime eventually so hopefully we can more people to come out on this Friday
