WTB: Car for my mom - davej - 09-23-2013
My mom has an 02 malibu that needs to go away. Trying to talk her into a Accord/Camry/etc or CRV/Forester/Rav4 kind of thing. awd is a plus in upstate ny. I'm kind of thinking about finding/buying something down here for her as it'll be a ton cleaner than any northeastern used car. Figured I'd throw it out there in case you know of anyone selling something boring, automatic and reliable. price range ~10-12k, but older/well maintained high mileage for less are fair game for a few years.
She's coming down to visit this weekend, not sure i'll find something by then but it'd be convenient for her to drive it back up.

Late to the post but I figured I would toss it up. Would she consider another chevy? I have a really nice 07 Impala LT with leather and the big V6, 65k on that. 2010 Impala LT with cloth, V6 and 60k also. Not to mention other 4 door Chevys and a SPOTLESS loaded 2008 PT Cruiser Limited Turbo. Shoot me a PM if she is still looking, got all kinds of nice local things in that price point.

Sorry, forgot to update. Someone she knows in NY was selling his daughters corolla that she had in college. Its a 2012 with 22k miles for $13k. She ended up grabbing that over the phone while she was visiting.
Also someone bought her Malibu with a rusted out/broken front subframe for 2k. Crazy.
