Hey guys, I'm Taylor and I'm a freshmen CIS major (2017). I'm lucky and have my vehicle as a freshmen, so there's that,
I drive a 2003 Toyota Tacoma TRD SR5 with the 3.4 V6. I don't have any major mods yet, but they're coming.
I have a few hobbies, all of which are expensive, so things aren't coming along as fast as I'd like.
Most people know me as "that guy with the straw hat" because I wear it everywhere, mainly for that reason. I'm from a small town south of Lynchburg, Virginia so I'm not used to being one of the only people with a truck. I really want to start wheeling my truck, but I won't to get some sliders on it before I do. I haven't been around cars as much as I've wanted to be growing up, which I really couldn't help, but I plan on making up for it.
I like to golf, weightlift, and play drums, so I do a few things that suck up my money. I guess I'll post some pictures of my truck now. They won't be consistent because I don't take many pictures and I change something on my truck fairly often.

Welcome to MM! There are plenty of Jeep folks around here who go wheeling and I'm sure they could give you some advice if you want help building the truck up a bit - and even stock there are some good places to take her near JMU.

Funny, i'm currently wrapping up two long weeks, roughly 70 hours on a 40- i'll shoot you the write up when its finished soon/ show you pics this weekend.
Good to see you golf! Lots of places in the Valley nearby to hit em straight- Packsaddle and Heritage Oaks are decent courses all within 5-10 minutes from campus and relatively cheap!

Welcome! Just south of Lynchburg, huh? I grew up in (and have returned to) Roanoke, so you aren't from too far away.

welcome! my grandfather owned a TRD Taco, same color and everything, which my dad then got and drove around for years. very fun little truck and it was missed when it was sold.
there are a couple MM'ers from the roanoke area actually, including my family. i'll keep an eye out for the straw hat if i'm in town.
