I've been getting alert popups on the Tapatalk app saying the forums Tapatalk API is out of date. It probably just needs a new version installed if someone can knock that out.

?? I'm thinking this is a bug with the actual application. I updated the API to the latest I could find (3.8.1) and the issue is still there....

OK go into the Tapatalk application settings and clear your cache, after that you shouldn't get the message anymore.

The smart banner should also work now if you open the site in safari.

I now have 99+ new unread threads when using tapatalk. Not really a bother just wanted to see if others have this.

Actually this is bothersome because its bringing really old threads to the top. Any ideas?

Not happening with me just mark them all as read.
Edit also like I said clear tapatalks cache under its settings tab ( settings -> reset -> clear cache)

Does the Tapatalk API need to be updated again? I haven't been able to connect to MM in a few weeks and I've flushed cache, reinstalled, and updated Tapatalk, all to no avail.

Same - no issues here (iOS7 / Tapatalk Free)... what platform / version of Tapatalk are you using?
