MM @ Camden Yards - JPolen01 - 05-09-2013
This was talked about in another thread in the lounge so I figured I would make an event thread for it. Who is interested in catching an O's game in Baltimore? I'm heading into the city tonight which made me think of this. We could do a friday night game or a saturday day game. I'm available for either as I live only 10 minutes from the yard. People are more than welcome to crash here. I figure we will hit Pickles a couple hours before the game (may work better on a saturday) to have some beers and then head into the stadium.

I have almost no interest in baseball (I don't have "my team" or anything) but food/beers/beers-during-baseball with MMers sounds like a pretty good time.

Sounds like fun.... except I can no longer sit in stadium seating, and also won't go downtown Baltimore being pregnant or without a firearm. But mostly its cause I would be the least fun person right now to take to a game. And I really like baseball, was a huge Orioles fan for a long time. Go have fun, take pictures and I will be jealous of you all.

What he said. Mondays & Fridays usually best for me, but, the group can pick a date and I can move things around usually. I used to always buy the cheap seats out in center field, but they're probably not $5 any more.

The cheap seats I get are about $25 I want to say. Upper deck behind home plate has some of the best views for the $$. They did put a huge bar out in center field with outdoor couches/barstools/standing room that is also awesome to watch from. Not hard to get a beer either which also helps. I'm down for any night of the week.

Just looked at the stadium map... sections 90-96. $17/30 for tickets. Those used to be $8 :lol: Get off of my lawn? I'm still down.

I usually go for section 340. They also now have a surcharge if you buy day of at the box office which is bullshit. If I decide today I want to go to the game tonight I shouldn't be penalized for not knowing this and buying my ticket yesterday.
