Rescue of kidnapped girls after 10 years - davej - 05-07-2013
Cleveland police said missing teens Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and a third woman were found in a west side house on Monday.Berry was last seen in 2003 when she was called her sister to say she was getting a ride home from work at the Burger King. She was set to turn 17 the day after her disappearance.
On April 2, 2004, 14-year-old DeJesus went missing while walking home from Wilbur Wright Middle School.

Maybe it's just coincidence but there was another case of a young girl getting kidnapped and forced into the sex trade in Cleveland I saw a few years ago. Her dad searched and searched for her, and tracked her down to a pimp's house in a suburb. He called the police multiple times and they never sent anyone out so he went in there himself to get his daughter. He got his ass beat, and only after neighbors called the police to report the beating did they finally show up.
Makes me wonder wtf is going in Cleveland, or if this is just something that is common in a lot of cities. There are a lot of missing girls from the inner city, and the police and the media don't seem to spend a lot of time or effort on the issue.

yeah, that's messed up man. with a little daughter i can even imagine what it'd be like to go thru something like that. i'd go full liam neeson on those guys.

Charlotte has a really bad sex trafficking industry as well. I was told that it is actually one of the worst cities in the US for it.
