2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - BFisch06 - 04-11-2013 So the best I can tell, these two 19 year-olds have no idea how to drive. Apparently the throttle got stuck, the brakes wouldn't work, and after reaching speeds of 100 mph they drove into the median and jumped out of the (still moving) car. Don't get me wrong - this sounds scary - but really? Couldn't drop a gear or turn the engine off? The 911 call is 17 minutes long or something and no one could come up with a better idea? Am I overlooking something here, or do you guys think this is as ridiculous as I do? :evileye: 911 tape excerpts and story Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - CaptainHenreh - 04-11-2013 Ridiculous! Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - D_Eclipse9916 - 04-11-2013 What a bad Experience Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - BLINGMW - 04-11-2013 Pretty soon they won't even bother putting an ignition switch in cars since people don't know how to use them. Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - Jake - 04-11-2013 I wOnder if anyone in the car thought to pop it into Neutral. Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - SlimKlim - 04-11-2013 I Still can't believe that out of all these "runaway" throttle stories, no one remembers the ignition, gear selector, or emergency brake. Why is everyone's first thought to call 911 or attempt to jump out of the car? Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - Steve85 - 04-11-2013 To the top! In case anyone missed it the first time! 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - FlaakCM - 04-11-2013 Is this a repost?

Re: 2 Harrisonburg teens jump from runaway Mazda - G.Irish - 04-12-2013 So this isn't a repost because there wasn't another thread on it. You all fail.
