FS: '94 Miata, track/autocross/daily-driver ready - Jake - 04-11-2013 IT'S NOT MINE, CALM DOWN. This one belongs to my friend Joe, down in Strasburg (or up, if you're at JMU). If you've been at the track in years past, you've seen it flung around corners at Summit and VIR. Well, for a variety of life-changes reasons, he's gotta sell it. It would be a great DD/autocross car for any student looking for just that. ![]() It's a '94. White with white hardtop ($1k value right there) from a 90-93 (which means, no defroster). 178k miles, A-Package options (power windows, power mirrors, Torsen limited-slip diff). I started my HPDE career in this car. The motor is strong, it'll do 105+ on the back straight of VIR (for a Miata, that's about whatcha got). ![]() Here's the mod list, per Joe: Suspension: FM springs/swaybars Tokico Illumina shocks 949 Racing Endlinks de-powered steering rack (with plugs and internals modded) Brakes: Hawk HP+ front brake pads Hawk HPS rear brake pads SS lines super blue fluid (not a big deal, obviously) Body/interior: AC fully removed R front lip KG works rear spoiler 90-93 dash swap (dash covered in faux suede) airbags FULLY removed. all wiring etc. Nardi Classic steering wheel modified door cards (removed pocket and pull handle, covered bottom half in faux suede and have a leather strap door pull) KG works door handles/locks Autokonexion shorty console no radio. just giant gaping hole (I do have a stock Mazda radio for it, if you want it) Gforce 6 point harnesses Flyin miata frame rails rear bumper cut trailer hitch hoppy plug n play trailer harness knockoff "raydot" chrome mirrors (have stocks) HDHCHTDD roll bar with padding Newish ebay soft top with no tears/rips etc. still plenty of life left. ![]() (You get stock black cloth seats, I'm buying these Memory Fabs) Wheels/Tires: OE hollow spoke with worn BFG Traction TA 15x7 Enkei 7 spokes with worn, but still good to use R888's Engine/Drivetrain: new OE clutch at about 150k stock flywheel lightened 2 lbs exh-intake cam enthuzacar exhaust Tire Trailer! The Good: no rust, car's pretty straight. trunk needs re-paint badly. (rattle can job..) well, paints in decent shape on the whole car, but right rear quarter is different color from PO. not sure why. frame is straight. car handles awesome on track. setup proper to be a relatively maintenance free track car. 5 years and dozens of events and only issue i had was a spark plug wire pop off. oil changed before every event, sometimes 2x per month. The Bad: drivers' side seat belt retractor acting up rear main seal is leaking. has been for a little while, but haven't gotten around to it. starter acts up. i have a replacement already just haven't gotten to it. It's getting a new VA state inspection this week. Joe wants $4500 for the car, hardtop, three sets of wheels/tires, and tire trailer. The hardtop is worth roughly a grand. I think this is a good effin' deal. DJ doesn't, because he wants to pay $600 for every car, ever. Joe also said $3,500 if you don't want the hardtop. ![]() PM me if you're interested, and I'll put you in touch. DJ doesn't, because he wants to pay $600 for every car, ever. I like him, and I wouldn't post this on a regular forum but he is asking FAR too much. Its a 94 miata with 176k miles with -Cheap shocks -Shot tires -Stock seats -Faulty starter -leaking rear main seal -different color body panels -rattle canned trunk -Known to be tracked/beaten the crap out of. You want what? I wouldnt even buy an M3 with those problems and mileage for $4500. FS: '94 Miata, track/autocross/daily-driver ready - JPolen01 - 04-11-2013 I agree with DJ. Seems like he is asking a lot for a beat track car that needs work. Maybe he'll get the 5k he is asking on Craigslist from someone. Re: FS: '94 Miata, track/autocross/daily-driver ready - Jake - 04-11-2013 He's open to offers.
