FS: 1994 Accord EX, Auto, $1k OBO - Jake - 12-29-2012

This belongs to one of my old roommates from college. He's had it for a bunch of years, and is finally moving on. Asking $1k OBO, and needs it gone by Sunday, January 6th. If you're interested, PM me and I'll pass along his contact info. The car is in Herndon.

It's a 1994 Accord EX coupe. Steve says the EX stands for EXtreme. 2.2L 4-cylinder (I think) rated at 145 hp with VTAK, automatic. The speedometer hasn't worked since I've known Steve (so... five years?). He says it stopped working at 134k, and he thinks the car has about 150k on it now. It didn't get driven much during college, and he gets rental cars for work, so he's used it to get from Herndon to Dulles Airport, and not much else.

Has a Pioneer CD/MP3 player. He thinks the brakes may need doing soon, but he does still drive it so it's gotta be sort of solid. He sent me these pix:

That looks like a damn clean interior for a $1k car. geeze. Not surprised it went quick.

Its really clean for the money but it wasn't completely perfect in person, the driver's bolster had a lot of wear, the trim was really faded all around, wheels had years of brake dust built up and the paint was decent but badly needed a polish.

Still, I'm regretting that I didn't think to jump on it myself, I could've fixed the speedo and given it a basic tune up and full detail and thrown in back on CL for $2500. Oh well...
