Hey everyone, how's it going? I'm Dylan Johnson, and I'm a freshman this year at JMU. I've pretty much grown up in and around the Harrisonburg area all my liife, and on that note I'm a first year commuter (it's so nice being able to have my vehicles). My daily whip is an old beat up '97 Mazda Protege. Nothing fancy but it's good on gas. My pride an joy would be my '98 Jeep Wrangler Sport. She has a 4" Skyjacker lift and 33" BFG AT's. I've taken her out on the trails a few times but not quite near as much as I'd like to. And she's definitely still a work in progress. I'm really excited to become a member of MM. I don't know everything there is about automotives but i know a good bit and I'm ready and willing to learn a lot more. Can't wait for the year to get going.

Welcome! You'll find several of us have/had Jeeps and a few of us do some off-roading. Oh, and that AWD Talon under "had" - oh yes, turbo DSMs once had a loyal following in MM (and Adam has his still)

Welcome! There's a wealth of knowledge here about Jeeps, especially since Jeff has all of his Chrysler connections.
Make sure you come to the College Challenge in Verona on the 29th. It'll be a great time to meet some of us older guys and just a great time in general. Even better, bring your car and knock down some cones with us. :dunno:

I'm definitely gonna try to make it out to the Challenge, I won't have much to offer though since I'm short a quick car, however :/ I definitely miss that Talon too. I'm looking to get my hands on an STI in the near future though. But thanks for the welcome guys!

Well MM typically provides rides to the Autox....but those driving in the autox will usually have an open seat for passengers to ride along. I know I will.

Hey Dylan, I told you these guys are friendly. I don't think you'll be needing a ride over to the gov't center though dude, since you live right down the street. Don't worry about participating in the actual autox this time. Just come, take it all in. Like the guys said, you can ride along, and get a feel for what's going on.
