I think they look awesome, like...the best wheel I've seen on an E36. Yum. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - CaptainHenreh - 04-25-2011 18k for rat's nest wiring and dryer hose intake? I'll pass, thanks. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JustinG - 04-25-2011 CaptainHenreh Wrote:18k for rat's nest wiring and dryer hose intake? Wiring does look like a hot mess, but I appreciate the concept, but does an LS1 really add another 9-10k to the price tag? Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - D_Eclipse9916 - 04-25-2011 JustinG Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:18k for rat's nest wiring and dryer hose intake? Absolutely not. Its overpriced. Thats LS1 RX7 FD territory and you can betcha ass you know which one im choosing. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JPolen01 - 04-25-2011 That bay looks awful. Much rather have an Ls1 in something unique like an FD over a BMW anyday. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - SlimKlim - 04-25-2011 Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. The only difference is most people don't waive their asshole all over the internet. Its overpriced because he's trying to part the car out, the 18k was his highball if anyone wanted to try and take the whole thing from him. After meeting that VA Tech Alumni at the autox and the car show and getting to ride in his car (which looked more sorted than this one to be fair), and hearing how difficult the swap was, I have props for anyone that pulls it off correctly, even if the engine bay is a mess. This consistent BMW hate all over MM lately is starting to piss me off. Yes, some of us have them, some of us love them, just like Matt and his undying love for Fords. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JustinG - 04-25-2011 easy there big guy.... Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - kcook - 04-25-2011 LOL @ justin back on topic : i always get a hard on for a nicely done/prepped integra (rsx). edit : looking at it again, that bumper is ugly. I just love the staggered white ce28ns
Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JustinG - 04-25-2011 ya know, I kinda dig those cars too when done nicely. What kept them from blowing up, cause the type S was what 200hp? Was it a pig, not handle well? what???? Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - fiveoh2go - 04-25-2011 Meh, the front end looks like a '10 Mazda 3....but I love the alignment that car is rockin'. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - kcook - 04-25-2011 From what I know, they have the same chasis as the usdm type R so they handle very well. Never knew why more people didnt track them Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - CaptainHenreh - 04-25-2011 kcook Wrote:LOL @ justin No way. Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - kcook - 04-25-2011 oh yeah.. these give me a hard on too. very well done 4 dr m3s ![]() ![]() bah i want another e36 now Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - JustinG - 04-26-2011 Like Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - REED - 04-26-2011 Goodspeed Wrote:D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Buy it and please please please swap out those wheels...their hideous on an m3. They look like M-Parallels to me :dunno: I always thought those were some of the best looking OEM wheels, they look great on E36, E39, E38...actually any pre-2000ish BMW Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - D_Eclipse9916 - 04-26-2011 REED Wrote:Goodspeed Wrote:D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Buy it and please please please swap out those wheels...their hideous on an m3. They are chrome M-Parrallels, and look horrendous on an M3 (exactly what I said above), they are to die for on E38s, especially long-wheel bases. My opinion. Joey, we hate when we want to (and come on I own an M3, I can hate it all I want). If he did at least a half-decent job on wiring (its not that hard, people are way too lazy), and got some decent wheels it *might* command that price. Anyways, back on topic....DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL....
Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - ScottyB - 04-26-2011 ^^ oh my sweet hot mercy aside from the raptor, syclone/typhoon twins and old land rovers, i don't really get hot for any off-roader except these (doing this, preferably)
Re: Cars that get you all hot and bothered - Steve85 - 04-26-2011 Damn Scott, that pic is sooo great! Since we're swapping LS'... Boost it (LS3) ![]() re-engineer the rear to fit more meat ![]() test fit meat (355s) ![]() adjust ride height
