I saw it out there while I was chatting it up with another Subaru owner from another forum. Car looked like it was a lot of fun out on the track... had an interesting tick noise to it which neither of us were sure about it as it went down the straights. Very cool car and even cooler to see it out on the race track.

Alternator fix held up well! Made it all three sessions on Sunday and I held nothing back while out there. Brian Maeng gets credit for the sweet bolt reinforcement that I feel made the fix a success.

Great to see everyone. We had a great turnout. It was cool to see some of the other MM'ers make day/afternoon trips just to say hello.

Saturday was not a good day for me on the track. I jsut couldn't get in the zone and I was sloppy and unprecise. Plus I was stressing about the car, getting it fixed, running here and there finding parts. My head just wasnt in the game.

Sunday, I focused in centering myself more, not worrying about anything but driving, did more visualization, and it was like night and day. The pesky E46 M3's that picked me off on Saturday either got picked off or had a much tougher time picking me off on Sunday. And the black Porshe TurboS got a good view of the back of my car ;-).

I gave rides on 3/5 sessions to 5 people and enjoyed sharing the experience and hopefully getting more folks hooked.

Haven't even unloaded the car yet...

yeah, that was a weird car. and it was burning crazy amounts of oil too. it sucked being in my students car stuck behind that guy

wooooooo! ISAT FTW! ha, i'm glad it held up pete. honestly, i wasnt sure if it would, but i figured it'd be good enough until you got that new bracket. this offseason, you might want to design some sort of reinforcement on that bracket

That's for sure. Sunday we were really hard up for Booker Flaggers on Grid. I walk up to the MM Paddock space and voila all my problems were fixed. Thanks again to all the MMers that helped us out during the races.

Many thanks to Rex, he was a great help on grid this weekend.

I had a blast this weekend. The 240 amazed me on so many levels this weekend, and I really think that I may have personally grown a lot this weekend. I actually even chased down a few cars this weekend :-D. I'm really glad you enjoyed the rides, Shea. I'm gonna unpack this evening but I must say that this weekend was a fantastic way to end the year and I can't wait until February to start it all back up.

He was just the whistle. I held the number boards... :x

This weekend was tons of fun. Cold in the morning but great once it warmed up. My first weekend on grid, but it was pretty cool. I think I might do it again next time, its a better place to meet all the NASA people. I got owned by a GT3... never knew I got car sick.

Maengelito Wrote:did anyone happen to pick up my tire pressure gauge by mistake? its a black longacre gauge. i didnt see it after saturday.

Yo Maeng,

I found your tire gauge. It was in my bag. If you want it, I'll be at Shenandoah in November and doing the Nasacross thing on 10/29

True, but if you're going to continue to do the number boards you're going to have to get the walk down. I suggest you watching some boxing matches and studying the card girl's movements.

That right there is almost reason enough to do it.

I will, there was a guy in a 350Z that told me I needed to get my ass into it more. I've got to work on "shaking my money maker." Think we can get those number boards jazzes up a bit more? Sequins and bright colors?

RJ, Don't lie, you know you wanna hit it. Plus, I'm gonna bust out the bikini in Feb, skirt wouldn't look as good on me.
