Well. Sadly the tuning process is finished. Just got my 8th file and finished paying for the tune. Overall:
Customer service - was great! Answered all my questions. I even got to understand some of the knitting gritty things about VVT and such when I asked. And he tried to explain all the questions to his best of his ability so I could understand. He was very prompt. He answered usually within a few minutes or hour and always within the same day unless it was way late at night which is understandable. He actually talked to me on a personal level sometimes which was nice. He also got the tuning files he adjusted back either the same day or the next morning after I logged them.
Product - it feels good. Pedal feel is great. Wayyy more linear than stock. 1st gear feels like nothing now. It pulls up so quick it is crazy. I can feel the low end the most out of all of it. Torque seems way flatter and higher. Car pulls great 2k+ now in lower gears and you get an actual tiny push back in 1st and somewhat in 2nd gear. The car used to die anywhere below 5k, actually the stock tune just completely sucked and I probably could never go back now. I would just hate it. Car also has a bit more push up top than before. Red-line is 7200 now from 6500. Speed limiter is set to 150 and I'm not going to try to push the car that high probably can only get it to 120 at VIR. I'm very impressed with how the car feels now. I will be hopefully going to the dyno with some people this month near the mid or end of it to see some real numbers. I'm hoping for real numbers to be in the 170s for hp and 150s for torque. For now, the tune according to Vdyno from stock tune until now has netted me 20+ peak hp/tq, about 30ish tq at the lower end all around from 2k-4k, and wayyyy more drive ability.

Have you sorted out those brake lines yet? If not, seriously, do it now. There were apparently a couple of incidents this past weekend where brake lines were cut or had failed in some way.

Will do before I get on track. Just asked some Mazda3 members with coilovers.
Kaan any welding ideas? Don't know if it is possible to weld a bracket onto thin metal with gas inside?

i'm sure we can come up with something better... maybe use the lower shock bolt or fab something off the coil without welding to it.

Emailed D2 and they said the coilovers came with some things. I'll just have to check it out in a bit. If not I can buy some for $5.

But, it goes around the threads which my brake lines are way below the threads so they would never be able to reach them. Maybe hose clamps could work instead of zip ties and drill a hole to place the line into?

I wouldn't want to torque anything down on the threads in fear of possibly stripping them off and not being able to adjust them later on.

Yup it goes around the threads. It won't fit around the actual body, it is too small. I know I don't want to do it either. I just don't think zip ties will cut through I've been running this for over a year. Yeah it isn't the best set up but I've looked at my lines multiple times and beaten this car up and haven't had an issue and zip ties are better than using something metal like hose clamps

I don't really know how big that clamp is, do you put the enclosed round part on the shock body or on the brake line?

Enclosed part goes around the threads, the thing sticking out hold the brake line, metal connectors have ridge in them that they push right on

Some have a bracket built on to their coilovers others have done similar to what I've done.

Are you worrying about zipties breaking? I've used Zipties to hold tons of things on and they've never broken, even on the trails. Just get some nice ones.

People are worried about me having brake issues from I guess zip ties cutting though them. I just don't see them doing that. If they were metal I'd understand.

I believe the issue is that the line is ziptied directly to the coilover and it's going to rub back and forth against it while driving. Not something you want to do for very long, brake line failures ain't purdy, I've seen it happen.
It should be pretty easy to fab up your own version of the clamp you posted with supplies from home depot. Some aluminum bar, rubber padding and a couple loop clamps and you're in business.
EDIT: Ryan it's not that the zipties will cut through the rubber line, its the friction and vibration they are going through being ziptied directly against that coilover that twists back and forth when you turn the wheel, that's what could cause an issue. They are mounted with a little rubber collar from the factory for a reason, so nothing is actually clamping onto the line itself.
You might not think it will be an issue, but do you really want to find out you were wrong when you're doing 85mph down 81? It's an easy fix to avoid a biiiiiiig problem.

Alright. Well the one in the back is for ABS sensor not brake line so that one isn't an issue. The metal piece with the one with the brake line and I don't think that is going to much damage. I'll give it a look and make sure only zip ties are pushing on the metal part of the brake line. I agree about is it worth it. But, I just don't see it has a problem with metal on metal contact.
Edit: I may be stubborn right now cause I'm young but still.
