No worries Mike, we went on a murder streak. I finally figured out how people were rolling around with diamond riot shields, crossbows, etc. Kids are creating public games to power-level, boost K/Ds and unlock gun skins. The only reason I know is that I got invited to one. Super lame. I was wondering how several people I have seen now have been rolling with those things...it would seriously take so long to get a diamond riot shield. I would venture to guess a lot of the diamond sniper rifles are that way too.

Have yall noticed that when you are paired up with random people in any particular game, more often than not they are from your state...or even area? I have noticed this several time when people have mics and start talking. Last night I played with 5 other people from NC, three of which were from the Charlotte area like me! I am guessing that it is easier for the servers to process games locally or something.

Matchmaking is done by lowest lag connection...it makes sense that geography would come into play there, especially in a metropolitan area.

Been enjoying Zombies a bit the past day or two. Anyone up for it? Shit's tough. And really difficult to get in with good people when you have a low-level badge (achievement badges show your rank, but are somewhat arbitrarily granted and can be taken away).

Gun game is the only thing I play anymore. TDM is such a cluster fuck. You shoot someone 5 times and they don't die, yet they shoot you twice in the leg and you're done. BO2 definitely is not as good as I expected it to be.

Damnit. So I usually run with low-cost scorestreaks since I pretty much get them every life and they benefit the whole team (UAV/CUAV). Today I decide to run those, but also add the top streak, Swarm. Wouldn't you know? The first game I play I get it... but with two seconds left on the clock. Sadface.
I also decided I don't like running high-level streaks because it doesn't cause your scores for the other streaks to reset. When I run UAV/Hunter Killer/CUAV, I often get them all a few times per life. When you run a high-level, the counter doesn't reset after you use the low-levels. Kind of a bummer.
Anyway, good talk. I just prestiged again. I don't know the level, but it has a scorpion on it.

I usually try to use low-cost streaks as well.
UAV, Care Package, and Hellstorm Missle.
Although, lately, I seem to be getting into games with people getting dogs or warships often

I tend to not use streaks that take my attention away from the task at hand (stuff I need to call in, stuff I control, stuff I need to target, etc.).
I still have yet to see Dogs or Swarm.
