Finally got the P30 out to the range to run some rounds through it. I'm biased, but I like the feel of it much better than quite a few others I've handed. Below is the pattern of 10 shots at 15 yards. I was aiming for between the eyebrows, so I'm clearly high/left. Overall, I'm happy with the clustering given it was the first time out.

I have gotten used to the punch of the .40 and i can tell you after the mag issue was fixed it is an excellent gun. The 9mm would be that much smoother

Probably the best price you will ever find on a brand new Aimpoint PRO. I plugged in the coupon code at checkout and it is $349.99 with $7.00 shipping. The only way I have found it cheaper is if you get the Premium PRO PSA rifle when it drops under a grand.

I'm incredibly happy with my blade tech eclipse. It's my goto for my shield ATM. Its super thin and very comfortable.

I have a Blackhawk Serpa that I'm pretty happy with. Some people give them a bad rap but our entire sheriff's dept uses them and I've heard few complaints. Forces you to have your index finger extended to release the weapon and since it's already extended it falls naturally to the slide of the gun after the draw.

Our duty holster is a Safariland thumb release which isn't too bad, but it's bulky.

My favorite OWB off-duty holster though is a Bianchi hip holster. Stays close to the body, lightweight, sturdy and the draw is easy.

Reviews all seem really favorable of Amazon and I like the idea of a click. I'll have to dig a little deeper and see what negatives I can find.

The biggest negative you will find with the Serpa is "glock leg" from people not using them correctly. Not as big of a concern with the safety on your p30, but many consider the safariland als to be a better, safer design.
