Weather is calling for 7-12 inches here starting at 1pm. Several schools have already announced they are closing early and all events here have already been rescheduled. It's unlikely we'll be able to come.

Weather updated this morning calling for 10-15 inches. Even if we could beat the weather out of here in the truck that would leave my mom stranded in our town with no means of transportation.

I'm kinda in between Thayer and Chapin here...looks like the snowfall will be progressively less worse going up-state from Abingdon to NoVA, but H'burg is still predicted to get a decent amount. Add to that the retardedness of bad-weather I-81 driving (semi trucks go FASTER) in a small RWD car and I'll be on the fence until tomorrow shows whats truly in store.

I have chips and dips and liquors and slushie machines. We may need a little bit of beer, but not too much (and no miller lite :lol: ) I've also got cornbread stuffing and if enough show up I'll make some roasted sweet potatoes too.
