c'mon guys, don't hate on Felicia too much. She's the only person I consistently pass in group 3 :-D. She was driving the miata at Hyperfest, though I do recall the FFR she used to run. I didn't realize that she drove the Lotus this weekend, I thought she was just strutting around instead of driving. All of my interactions with the stepson have left me thinking "what a douchebag". He talked to me at one event that I was driving the 240 b/c he had a 240 (which I guess has been sold) and was entirely too cocky for somebody who had never driven on track at that point. That family must have too much money and not enough sense.

is this that woman who drove a silver miata like mine at shenandoah in group 3? she seemed really weird and was the only one in group 3 that i would consistently pass as well. i think she talked about wrecking a ffr cobra in classroom too.

Yeah I remember a black Exige with North Carolina vanity license plates with her name on em, or a variation of her name.

Hello!

just wanted to give a shout out to Maengelito. He was my instructor in group 1. Had a great time this weekend at my first ever track event and learned alot from him. Thanks and see you at a future NASA racing event.

I swear that I saw a 959 on my way home, sitting in the grass on the left hand side as one exit's the North Paddock. It was silver (weren't they all?) and had ID tags.

I just got a double-take glimpse of it before we were too far to be sure, but...
Yep

Yes, that is Philicia, Yes she wrecked the cobra, yes she was driving Mike's Exige, NO, I don't know why she is in group 3, Yes she did not pass Instructor clinic last Feb. Confusedhock: Confusedhock:

she took the instructor clinic?!
I thought you had to be approved to get into that.....

Evan Wrote:I thought you had to be approved to get into that.....

Yeah but often times people that have no business being in the instructor clinic slip through if they just sign up. The comp school students must be 'approved' by chris, I would like to see the instructor clinic "students" handled the same way.

As would I, and I'd like to see a lot stricter approvals. I've seen a few people come through the clinics that IMO just didn't have the experience yet.

agreed Matt

- Mike - 08-01-2006

sean, since you handle registration can't you deny one's entry in to a particular group? seems like that's where it'd have to happen.

damn, I DEFINATLY should have just taken it then!

I can review the entries but I do not have the ability to review a person's prior experience if they run with other groups in addition to NASA...those things Laura and Chris handle

That's almost as bad as people instructing without even taking the clinic... oh wait.... sorry.

There are a lot of qualified instructors from other organizations that have not taken NASA's Instructor clinic...some of them could probably teach it
