Oh man our Polcat is having a polkitten!!

You kids grow up too fast these days.

Super happy for you guys, let us know when we can start with the unsolicited advice.

RE: Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - Apoc - 12-06-2018

I didn't even realize Polen was old enough to vote.

That room turned out nice.

Kids ruin everything.

The last thing I need is to be part of any kind of groupme with you people. I get enough unsolicited advice from my sister in law who has a 3 month old. I know as time goes on I'll have plenty of questions though...

On another note, total spent on the room with materials, drywall labor/painting, and carpet was about $3600. I'm confident we will get back $5k at a minimum when we sell so while we needed to do it for space reasons it should pay off decently as well.

Congrats on the finished project and the one just starting!

Lol I'll be waiting for Dj's write up on his modded power wheels.

I did pick this up today though in perpetration for a car seat. The Si needed brakes so it wasn't worth putting money into it just to dump it in 6 months.

2019 Accord Sport 2.0 A/T with the 10spd.

RE: Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - Apoc - 12-08-2018

That doesn't look like an F31.

Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - ViPER1313 - 12-08-2018

Tell me how you like it. That is high up there for me on the practical car choices list.

Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - JPolen01 - 12-08-2018

Adam if you're in the the Columbia/Ellicott City area in the near future let me know and you can drive it. The 2.0 is a must as the 1.5 with the CVT is anemic and terribly underpowered for the Accord. In sport mode this thing goes when you hit the gas pedal and is pretty entertaining with the paddles. Price wise I don't think you can beat this car for what you get.

RE: Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - ScottyB - 12-10-2018

nice grab, i hear nothing but good stuff about the 2.0/10spd combo. really like the looks of this one although i'm a little sad the Si had to go...but i totally get it.

get some locks for those wheels, you know where this is going...

You know locks came on the Si and I didn't even look to see if they were on this car. I assume not. Should I look for OEM locks or is there another trusted brand? Is it even worth it? You can break a wheel lock off without much trouble if you really want the wheels.

RE: Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - Jake - 12-10-2018

The locks will keep someone from taking the wheels off of your Accord Sport and force them to quickly move on to your neighbor's Accord Sport instead. That's the benefit. I'd throw them on.

So uh congrats on the townhouse-baby-Honda project thread! I made sure to update my Grindr profile as you instructed and now there's a lot of headless torsos messaging me wondering who Polecat is.

Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - Senor_Taylor - 12-10-2018

I really like the new accords. My friend bought a touring and brought it over. Way too nice for a Honda.

Also congrats. Lil baby pole cat coming soon.

Congrats on both new additions brother! I really like what Honda is doing with their styling, whereas Acura seems to still be regressing a little

Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - JPolen01 - 12-10-2018

I drove Touring model and the extra $5k for the HUD, ventilated seats, charging pad, and active dampers was not worth it. For non car people I see why you would get sucked into buying that model.

I also drove a 2018 TL-S A Spec. Oh my god what a terrible car. The interior looks like it's from 2008. The v6 and 9 speed transmission were ok. The motor sounded nice but overall was very jerky between shifts. I can't believe anyone would spend almost $50k on one of those.

RE: Project Townhouse: 1st Time Buyers - *insertusernamehere* - 12-10-2018

Congrats, congrats, congrats!
