Wermp wermp...You have a sunroof right? If so, likely the drains got plugged up. Same thing happened to my caddy right after I bought it.

At least it's just ruining your headliner as opposed the old E36 party trick of giving your ECU a bath when those drains get clogged.

Looks like drain cleaning might involve removing body/interior bits. F that noise. Warranty. Get them to fix the reverse sensor too.

Yeah I would for sure warranty it....my headliner didn't dry with a stain so hopefully yours won't either

Took it in for service today.
Sunroof drain clog, rear parking system completely broken (not just a sensor anymore), add some oil (looks like it's getting about 2500mi/qt now), and nav update.
CPO is up in late August. I'll probably own it after that until the first "are you f'ing kidding me?" repair. So probably sell in September.

Why would you assume that cost when you can unload it with the selling point of a few months of CPO? Doesn't make sense (to me) to pay $1000 to then sell a car.

So the sunroof drain caused the rear parking computer to be flooded. Hopefully have the car back this evening.

You'd think someone would have tested what would happen when the sunroof drain gets clogged. It's not that unlikely of a scenario.

I think part of the problem with getting rid of this is "what's next?" I did the research last time and this is where we ended up.
Must have:
Wagon, AWD, power memory seats (really), decent looks, at least a tiny bit enjoyable to drive.
The only other thing that seemed to fit the bill was a 3-series wagon, but they were a bit more than we wanted to spend.
So:
CPO 3-series now in price range because a year older, but also a year less reliable so might as well be...
Another A4 CPO?
CX5 might be a real option.
TSX still looks like a transformer.
Volvos that wouldn't suck are very expensive.
Sportwagen is FWD and dated. Wait for new one with AWD? Then quickly $30k.
