Shit... Game is tough. Not sure what's changed, but I'm struggling (relative to how I normally play). I'm wondering if mercenary games match you up with similar skill level? And skill not being defined by your rank.
Still, a breath of fresh air. I needed some insane run and gun back in my life.

I am definitely rusty. I think i'm barely 1.0 k/d right now. Not surprising but I like this game enough to play it enough to get back to where I used to be

+1 or echo Mike's Sentiments although I probably am not nearly as good. It is definitely tougher in multiplayer; I gotta get used to the maps. I am wandering around like a lost puppy and it is getting me shot pretty quick.

Played about 10 rounds yesterday probably. probably half below .5 k/d which kinda sucks. Did have one awesome round where i was about 1.5. Learning the maps is the key, definitely did better on Carrier because that seemed to come up a bunch and i started to learn it

Rex, Justin, and I started in on Legendary Co-Op Campaign for Halo 4 yesterday. Got three missions done. They throw a bit more at you, but not too much more then single player legendary. Their coordination is pretty good, but with the three of us working together we were able to do pretty well.

Got in a basically all day session and finally got my mojo back! Didn't go under about 1.58 k/d averaging about 1.8 with a high of I think 4 for about 20 games.
The biggest differentiators:
- Guns get SO much better when you level up. Type 25 with fore grip, fmj and target finder is legit. TF is almost unfair, I had the most headshots per game I've ever had.
- Overkill with a SMG in secondary. You're not losing the hip fire game from close range
- More patience in movement than im used to.
Also took me all day but I beat the campaign. WOW what an awesome game and awesome ending

Don't know if this is coincidence or what, but I switched the game into 3d mode and kicked ass in a few rounds yesterday. Might also be that I'm learning the maps finally.

In other news, I got Skyrim and XCOM for 25 dolla a piece by braving the walmart crowds thursday night. Missed out on the last 25 dollar copy of asscreed tres, though.
