Re: Automotive News Discussion - Jake - 11-18-2015

I can tolerate the ND front end and I love the ND interior (the Fiat interior is stupid, it's just their badge on an obvious Mazda design)... but the back end styling of the ND is so non-cohesive to me. That and the hood "cut line" where it opens, is about how I'd draw a straight line while blackout drunk.

We love our CX5, and in 3 yrs, if a second kid is in the picture, this is our next car.

Just really nervous about owning another turbo mazda.

This one isn't performance oriented as you can tell with the low hp output so I'm sure there won't be as many issues. But you'll never know until you get one. Definitely wish it had a bit more hp for my liking

Neither was the CX7, but a turbo and a camshaft later, it took some convincing to get Casey to even consider a Mazda

Well the cx7 wasn't specifically but that was the same motor out of the speed3 that could pop from just an intake...

The GT4 Clubsport unveiled yesterday and it looks amazing.

Luckily I work for a team that has "ordered" 4 of them. Wether they get an allocation of all 4 or not is another question, but I will at least be able to ogle them from the driver's seat when I drive them to get fuel

Re: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 11-19-2015

Hey that's pretty sweet. Is that Body Motion?

That's pretty wild. I keep waffling on their stock but maybe I should go for it.
Took 'em up on their dirty diesel money too.

So it really is just a miata with a different engine and bodywork? I guess...um... not sure I get it. :dunno:

Hasn't really hurt the FRS/BRZ - so I guess they figured why not?

Also, there's an Abarth here in Hoboken and it sounds amazing (reverberating between buildings probably helps) - i'll definitely give this a look next year when I'm buying.

Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-20-2015

Someone needs to build a kit car that uses an Abarth powerplant. The cars are kinda shit, but my god I love those ridiculous little engines.

Oh lawd, I was walking to my car today to take it for an insurance damage estimate and I hear this "braaaaaaap ptshh" as a white-haired lady rockets across the Key Bridge/Lynn Street intersection in Rosslyn in her white-with-red-stripes Abarth.

Yeah looks pretty damned sweet for a close to turnkey racecar. Glad Porsche if finally letting the Cayman live up to its potential. If I buy another Cayman it'll be a GT4 (streetcar).

Wow, definitely not a ringing endorsement of the early C7, or GM:

People are bitching on the Tahoe/Yukon forums about first-year 2015 SUVs having a ton of issues, too. Several buy-backs. Seems like the best year for a GM product is "not the first one."
