Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-05-2015 Do you have any data showing that $4k off MSRP is a "normal tuesday deal"? Re: Automotive News Discussion - .RJ - 11-05-2015 SlimKlim Wrote:Do you have any data showing that $4k off MSRP is a "normal tuesday deal"? That's basically Invoice less their $2k customer loyalty cash. Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-05-2015 I'm not sure if that promo is still running, the only thing on VW.com is a 1.9% for 60mo or a $0 down/lease deal. Someone in the "What are people paying?" thread on vortex says they're doing $1500 customer loyalty or $1000 conquest rebates, I dunno if that's for 16s or just the 15s left kicking around the lot. EDIT: Looks like Lindsay has the $1500 rebate thing up and they're showing their "online" prices about $2k less than I paid mine for six months ago. I dunno if they're assuming you currently own a VW or if you can get another $1500 rebate on top of that, but yeah, maybe you should go snuffle around the dealership. Re: Automotive News Discussion - WRXtranceformed - 11-09-2015 Lol http://money.cnn.com/2015/11/09/news/co ... index.html Re: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 11-09-2015 WRXtranceformed Wrote:LolI feel like the $1000 and roadside service is a pretty weak apology. Can't imagine these cars are worth anything at this point. Re: Automotive News Discussion - HAULN-SS - 11-09-2015 So I just read through the rules https://www.vwdieselinfo.com/goodwill_package/ I think this is literally just free money to make my day awesome? I don't see anything about not getting further benefit, exclusion from lawsuit, whatever? I might sign up, take the cash, use the extra funds for the DSG service, live happily ever after for the next 50k miles and sell it for what I paid for it Re: Automotive News Discussion - .RJ - 11-09-2015 HAULN-SS Wrote:So I just read through the rules https://www.vwdieselinfo.com/goodwill_package/ I signed up for it. Private party resale for these cars still seems strong :dunno: Re: Automotive News Discussion - G.Irish - 11-16-2015 Remember kids, be responsible with that slip angle Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-16-2015 Lol, it stepped out like 6 inches. This is why we "ice fish" in big parking lots. Re: Automotive News Discussion - G.Irish - 11-16-2015 SlimKlim Wrote:Lol, it stepped out like 6 inches. He didn't even get to be a oversteering hero for the few seconds before impact. Re: Automotive News Discussion - JPolen01 - 11-16-2015 Tinted out, black spray bombed wheels, and that song playing to top it all off. Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-16-2015 If someone wants to go steal a GTI you better get in there and do it. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/news/a27356/volkswagen-dealers-are-selling/ Re: Automotive News Discussion - Mike - 11-17-2015 he's okay, he's okay. Re: Automotive News Discussion - Jake - 11-18-2015 I like the Fiat's looks about 100000% times more than the ND Miata. Re: Automotive News Discussion - Goodspeed - 11-18-2015 Really? The middle of the car is kinda decent but the front was pwnt by hitting-pedestrian regs and the rear is just a block. Things....homely. Then again, the original isn't particularly attractive to me so I don't know what I was expecting. Re: Automotive News Discussion - G.Irish - 11-18-2015 Yeah not a fan of the Fiat at all. It just looks like the design language for much bigger car were slapped on. Reminds me of an old Aston Martin Volante, and not in a good way. Re: Automotive News Discussion - *insertusernamehere* - 11-18-2015 I dislike the new miata and i'd take the miata over that thing. Yuck. Re: Automotive News Discussion - CaptainHenreh - 11-18-2015 I prefer the ass of the fiat to the ass of the ND but that's...about it. Everything else, I'll take the ND. Especially considering they'll be the same fucking car, just one I have to pay the italian tax... Re: Automotive News Discussion - SlimKlim - 11-18-2015 I want the Fiat drivetrain in the Mazda body. I'm sure someone is squeezing stupid power out of those little Abarths, and it's just a direct transplant from that right? I bet it also sounds a whole shitload better than Mazda's little hamster wheel. I don't get the ND hate, I think it's pretty handsome but I'd only have it in black, the busy headlight styling looks better in dark colors IMO. |
