I'm not sure if that promo is still running, the only thing on VW.com is a 1.9% for 60mo or a $0 down/lease deal. Someone in the "What are people paying?" thread on vortex says they're doing $1500 customer loyalty or $1000 conquest rebates, I dunno if that's for 16s or just the 15s left kicking around the lot.
EDIT: Looks like Lindsay has the $1500 rebate thing up and they're showing their "online" prices about $2k less than I paid mine for six months ago. I dunno if they're assuming you currently own a VW or if you can get another $1500 rebate on top of that, but yeah, maybe you should go snuffle around the dealership.

I think this is literally just free money to make my day awesome? I don't see anything about not getting further benefit, exclusion from lawsuit, whatever? I might sign up, take the cash, use the extra funds for the DSG service, live happily ever after for the next 50k miles and sell it for what I paid for it

Really? The middle of the car is kinda decent but the front was pwnt by hitting-pedestrian regs and the rear is just a block. Things....homely. Then again, the original isn't particularly attractive to me so I don't know what I was expecting.

Yeah not a fan of the Fiat at all. It just looks like the design language for much bigger car were slapped on. Reminds me of an old Aston Martin Volante, and not in a good way.

I want the Fiat drivetrain in the Mazda body. I'm sure someone is squeezing stupid power out of those little Abarths, and it's just a direct transplant from that right? I bet it also sounds a whole shitload better than Mazda's little hamster wheel.
I don't get the ND hate, I think it's pretty handsome but I'd only have it in black, the busy headlight styling looks better in dark colors IMO.
