If you hold both the Utah and the VA permit, you get reciprocity in 32 states automatically and the ability to apply as an individual for 2 more states. Thats 34 states i'd be allowed to conceal in...
the Utah permist is also cheaper ($10 every 5 years) in the long run to renew over say the Florida or Michigan permits for out of staters.

the Utah has to be signed off by a Utah instructor. I'm sure you can find one online that if you pay for the "class" they'll sign you off. but currently Utah doesnt allow you to use your VA permit to apply for their permit. There is a little extra that Utah requires you to go through, so its basically a VA class room, with the extra Utah stuff at the end.

I think I still have a valid VA license (but have a CA license and address) - think I'd still be able to pick something up back in VA and stash it in my parents basement?

He's demonizing the very weapons that the taxpayer funded lifetime bodyguard service he has use to protect his dumb ass EVERY DAY.
I guess the secret service is preparing for Jimmy to be attacked by police and school kids? After all, they armed themselves with weapons that are ONLY GOOD for killing those two groups....
