I am still coming. Car maybe dirty, but it will be there. I am thinking of hitting the dyno now.

that's what i was wondering, i'm not sure of this, but if someone who will be operating the Dyno can post up here if Motorcycle Dyno's would be possible.

I've got enough tie straps in my truck I'm sure we can rig up something Confusedhock:

What's the worst that could happen? They might snap and you'll go flying across the parking lot in glorious 130 mph fashion, but hey, I'm willing to take that risk...!

maybe you can stand off to the side and ghost-walk the bike on the dyno

Sean did it over a damn porch and lived to tell the story, a parking lot should be a breeze, haha.

I discussed this with Qasim last semester before the show and he said a motorcycle dyno isn't doable.

i didn't know if it was of different dyno's, liability, or inadequate equipment, but thanks for the info Thayer Smile

- WRXtranceformed - 04-13-2007

I'd like to know the reasoning too.

- Ryan T - 04-13-2007

Most likely for safety/liability reasons. I believe that's what he said, but don't quote me on it.

- BLINGMW - 04-14-2007

bah screw this, I'm in, I wanna dyno this piece. Do we get A/F as well?

Anyone have the camber gauge we purchased for the club long ago? Please dig it up if you know where it is, I'd love to check mine while I'm up there. I'll pay dues, I want shirts, I want stickers, meow mix meow mix please deliver.

- Ryan T - 04-14-2007

Yes, the dyno does have a/f. I dunno about the camber gauge, but I'll go look through all the MM stuff I have.

- Steve85 - 04-14-2007

If I can find a tow vehicle, I will be there.

Got it started..again... but with oil pressure. It is no condition to drive though. Especially with my son in it.

I have the trailer just need sumtin to pull it.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 04-14-2007

The oddsey can tow cant it? Or Steve, if you need me to drive it there, because your concerned for your son....

- Nis01 - 04-14-2007

The club has a camber gauge? If this shows up, please let me know.. I'd love to use it.

- derilict - 04-14-2007

Seriously? Didn't it rain at the car show last spring? Oh yeah, it did, I remember running from tent to tent. Why's Mother Nature gotta be a hater? You guys have fun, I gotta work all day. Sad I wanted to dyno my lil civic toooooooo.

I used it back in 03ish down at the 'burg. I have a camber gauge now if anyone in the NOVA area want's to borrow it, they just have to come and get it.

I finally gave up...

Didn't find a reasonable deal on a truck until noon and when I got to the house the trailer and adapters just weren't cuttin it. Not to mention my trailer has electric brakes and the uhaul/penske's of the world use hydraulic ram type. The trucks don't have a brake controller.

I hope you all had fun and I will see you on campus for a couple more weeks.

Check out the progress report over in tech.

Whats up Steve, sorry you couldn't make it. Turn out was surprisingly good given the weather, and the dyno again attracted some quality cars. None quite as stinky as the Vette though  I'll be sure to read up on your car and I hope to see you around. Scott it was nice meeting you and I am a big fan of your Miata, Maeng your blue Miata looks awesome, I hope one day to get some ride alongs in either of these! It was good seeing everyone else as well and thanks for coming out!

Madison Motorsports- Where its not uncommon to see a minivan out-power a Miata.
