i think the rate is $52 /night. its probably closer to like $56 including taxes, so lets just say $110 for the weekend. i'll go ahead and pay for half and if i could get anyone else who wants in to chip in pay for the other half? i suggest the 2nd bed chips in the most if not all and possibly get a few bucks from those on the floor. considering there might be like 4 or 5 splitting $55ish, it shouldnt be too taxing on you all.

oh, also, i bought a new more miata friendly cooler (ie: it fits in the miata) so i guess it could be dubbed medium or little blue?
If Navin doesn't, I'll kick the other 56 bucks to take the bed for both nights though I'm open to spooning if someone wants to split 2nd night's fee.

Car prep and reserve your place in the paddock. Driving in the early AM to the track from NOVA is not preferable by most.

ha, one of the reasons why i was really pushing for more student involvement. just so you guys know how a track weekend works. most people like to show up on friday night because setting up takes a bit of time and its something people dont like to do on a saturday morning especially with a big day ahead of them. and those that work should usually be there pretty early. besides workers get a free hotel room for friday and saturday night.

(finally) got the new m/c in last night and everything bled out.
plus new engine mount, new temp sensor, new vinyl.
car fired up for the first time in a while last night. Just have to pack and load up!

ArgHH... I got my car inspected today (
) and now I'm trying to figure out where this awful screeching noise is coming from.I'm thinking its the tabs on the brake pads (fronts have none, rears are still there).. I hope its not a seized caliper or anything like that. The brakes still felt good though.

sounds great Maeng. I'm bringing an air mattress so the floor works for me. Navin, I'll get you some money for the room.
p.s. I'm leaving my office around 2pm or so, I'll get there by 5:30 when they let NASA people in. Anyone going to be there that early? weather report that I saw looks great for this weekend. Lows in the 30s though; Sat and Sun morning are gonna be frigid, so everybody take some layers and stay warm.
I'll be driving up early Saturday morning, so will somebody please leave enough space for my car and a pile of my shit at the paddock? I tech'd the 240 earlier this week and looks like it's ready for another weekend of abuse :-).

Anyways, I sliced my finger pretty bad at work - looks like ill be leaving any work to be done on the car tommorow to be done at the track.
