Fly into San Diego - that's be awesome! If you want, you can fly in early if you want to hang out for a bit. I'll have to work, but I'm usually done for the day by mid-afternoon. But you're welcome to use my truck if you want to explore the area during the day.
My friend already said I could borrow his grill - so we should be good to go.

Do it! Direct flights on JetBlue and United are available from Dulles to SD... there are plenty of beaches with bikini tops falling off around the corner!

Yes, you should go. Campsite is booked, and ginger has a ticket for sale...
We could probably drive up thursday morning, so I'd just fly out wednesday morning sometime.
