The car actually is incredibly fast, on its test run (first time ever run) it only placed second to a mazda backed mazdaspeed. He kept with the spyder as it was "his car"/everyone asks him that on the dsmforums. Yeah he could go awd, yeah he could go hard-top, but I guess he gets his kicks with it.
PS- All those splitters/louvers/bumpers are incredibly functional, should see the engineering on them. Even the splitter, you can literally jump up and down on, thats how strong it is, so that it actually helps instead of just looking like a piece of cool looks.

Oh and just to be the typical dsmer, it puts down 620whp.....reliably somehow someway (guess once a dsmer has money its just not ghetto rigged anymore lol)

While I'm not a huge fan of the looks of that car, the engineering alone is enough to get me H&B. It's a really interesting build to read through.

i have no doubt. i saw the robispec sticker and that alone is almost enough to know it would go around a track well.
i was genuinely curious about using a spyder, not knocking it. some people choose the less performance-desirable models to build from to show how capable the tuning is. plus if he has a sentimental attachment to it, we all know how that goes.
i think the front looks mean, but i'm just not hugely into the tacked on skirts/rear cladding and the top just looks bizarre on a car like that.
